Bone Ball Bark is a fully insured (within the UK) dog training company.
The following comprises the terms & conditions of engaging with Bone Ball Bark and their trainers.
Payment of training session fees implies you agree with the following:
- We train dogs using scientifically researched and approved positive reinforcement methods. There is to be no use whatsoever of choke chains, prong collars, e-collars, and any other such coercive equipment.
- There is to be no punitive techniques used on the dogs by the trainer, owner or family members, including physical punishment, pinning, ear pinching and other physical correctives.
- Bone Ball Bark cannot accept liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property.
- Payment is required more than 3 days before the first session in the form of bank transfer, PayPal, or cash in order to reserve the time slot. When booking a series of sessions or membership, if not paid in full initially, a flat fee of £120 will be expected to cover the first session, then the rest of the balance is required before the next session.
- Refunds cannot be given after full payment has been received for training sessions.
- Sessions expire 6 months after the purchase date (or whatever is stated at booking), and it is up to you to ensure you book all sessions prior to the expiry date.
- For memberships, it is up to the owner to book in all sessions that their membership dictates in a month. A reminder email will be sent 7 days before payment is due to be taken for the following month. Cancellation of membership can happen anytime by owner, up until the day payment is due to be taken. No refunds will be given on monthly membership fees once paid.
- Cancellations will be allowed up to 48 hours before the agreed session was due to take place, and alternative session times can be dicussed. If less than 48 hours, then the full cost of the session will be charged.
- Training and behaviour advice is given to owners with the best intentions, backed by scientific study, education and experience. However, owners understand that they take full responsibility in ensuring the welfare of their dog at all times during training sessions and at home. For example, socialising is an important part of a puppy’s development, and Bone Ball Bark trainers will advise how best to do this to avoid diseases being transmitted to puppies who have not had complete vaccinations. The owner understands that there is always a risk associated of their puppy contracting diseases and Bone Ball Bark is not liable in the rare event the puppy becomes ill.
- Owners endeavor to practice and follow the training advice and techniques given by trainers. There are no quick tricks or results in dog training. It takes time and consistency to bring about change. Also, dogs are living, breathing, emotional beings. They are not robots. 100% will be put into the training plan but at times change in behaviour is slow, or not as drastic as an owner hoped for.
- This agreement and any matters arising out of it shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
